Free enterprise support for Stutzman keeps building with latest endorsement

This week, yet another champion of free enterprise has joined a growing list of supporters of Marlin Stutzman for Congress. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced this week their endorsement of our campaign for Indiana’s 3rd Congressional District.

In a letter to the campaign, the Chamber shared, “It is the Chamber’s goal to help elect a pro-business Congress and work diligently in the interests of businesses large and small to advance legislation that encourages economic growth, job creation, and a less intrusive federal government. Your support of pro-business issues earned this endorsement.”

With more than 96% of U.S. Chamber members being small businesses with 100 employees or fewer, the endorsement is a strong signal to small business that help is on the way. Since entering this race, Marlin has heard from countless small business owners that the policies of President Obama and Speaker Pelosi have been a full-scale attack on free enterprise. So much that many entrepreneurs have put plans to grow and expand their business on hold. Some reports have even estimated that there is nearly $2 Trillion in capital sitting on the sidelines right now due to the uncertainty of what further government intervention will mean next. Marlin understands we must get government out of the way of free enterprise.

The advocates of small business at the U.S. Chamber feel just as strongly. They went on to add, “At no other time in our nation’s history has it been more critical that Members of Congress provide leadership that protects and advances the interests of the business community. We believe that your election to the U.S. House will help produce sustained economic growth and help create more jobs.”
